Family vacation of 11 ppl and the twins(boy/girl) will turn 6, where is the best place to have a birthday party, how do we go about getting a cake? Thanks

    Hi Krista,

I love traveling with other friends and family to the Walt Disney World Resort! While there may be some challenges, the extra time and memories created during these trips is worth it to me.

My personal favorite place to celebrate a birthday is at the Whispering Canyon Cafe. This restaurant is rowdy, crazy and fun! They serve good food and the waiters make it super special. There are pony races and Lincoln logs to play with in the lobby. Plus if you need anything, you never know what you might get.

Another option is a character meal as they are fun, interactive and you get a picture with you favorite character. I like Crystal Palace, 1900 Park Fare or Tusker House.

For any of these reservations, you want to make Advance Dining Reservations and indicate you are celebrating a birthday. The twins may receive extra treats from the restaurants as all restaurants do things a little differently.

As for ordering a cake, call the Cake Hotline at 407-827-2253. You will need to order at least 72 hours in advance and they can help you make arrangements for delivery to your restaurant.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
    Beth
