We are a family of 6 and for all of us it is a first time. I was so excited to book it but know I just want to cancel it. I'm overwhelmed with planning. Can someone just make out an itinerary for us so we can follow it? I'm so discouraged. help

Hi, Tommy!  I know it can be overwhelming, but don't you worry!  We're here to get you through everything so you can stop stressing and enjoy your vacation!

Let's start with the basics - hotel.  If you stay at a Walt Disney World resort, you get perks like Extra Magic Hours.  These hours are when a park is open either an hour earlier or up to three hours later for resort guests only.  With a family of six, you'll need either two rooms, a villa at one of the Disney Vacation Club resorts, a cabin at Fort Wilderness, or a family suite at All Star Music or Disney's brand new, coming soon Art of Animation resort.

How many days are you visiting?  I like to recommend one theme park for each day of your vacation, and then if you have extra days, you can plan to return to some of your favorite attractions or build in days to do one of the water parks or DisneyQuest - or even just relax at your resort.

For dining, you have some options.  Do you want to purchase a dining plan, that will help you budget for your meals, or do you want to just wing it?  Even if you plan to go without a dining plan, I always recommend making at least one or two dining reservations for the experiences you really don't want to miss.  It's not very easy to walk up to a character dining location and get a table, so I always book those ahead of time.

If you want to write back and give me some specifics - like how many children are traveling and their ages, what types of dining experiences you hope to have, and what your resort preferences are, I can help you plan this magical vacation!
