We are family from UK planning a 2 week vacation for Eastertime 2013. The UK school Easter break is set for the 2 wks. after the Easter Sunday weekend. What will be the likely crowd situation? (note: we have to go during school hols. and want best weather)

    Hi Clive,

I love that you are planning so early for your Walt Disney World Vacation!

It will be slightly more crowded the first few days after Easter and then gradually thins out as children head back to school. With no uniformed school schedule for all of the United States, this holiday is one which has a great number of configurations for vacation days. Some schools will have a shorter break because they will be leaving for summer vacation in a few weeks. Others might give the entire week off because their summer break is two months away. The second week of your trip will be lighter.

Also, this is still a great time to go because school is in session and the weather is nice. Temperatures can get to the 90's but mostly hover in the 80's. With no humidity and only frequent showers, it makes for a great time to tour. In addition, the pools and water parks will be all heated to 82 degrees fahrenheit. Make sure to bring a sweatshirt as the temperature dips in the evening.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
