My family typically goes to DW the last week of August, just before school. The weather is usually pretty hot, with good sized crowds. However, this year we are headed down Oct 8-18th. How is the weather in mid-October, and the crowds? Thanks!

Hi Michelle.  I have actually been during that time of year and it is absolutely one of my favorite times to go to WDW!  The weather is a comfortable warm, nothing like the heat of August.  I also found the crowds to be some of the smallest I had seen in comparison with other vacations.  Now, that could change if WDW offers some great promotions during that time, but honestly, I think you are picking a fantastic time to go.  Have a great vacation, and thanks for coming to the Mom's Panel with your question.
