Hi Moms, Family trip to WDW. One adult and one child in my group, the other groups have at least 4 members with at least two kids per group. When checking prices for my group, the price isn't that much different than a family of four. Why? Thanks

Hi, Devonne!  If you are talking about room rates, that's because the rooms are generally priced to accommodate two adults, with children staying free.  Extra adults in a room would incur an additional fee.

When it comes to packages that include things like theme park passes and a dining plan, children are only considered eligible for a child's rate until age 9, so if the child in the one adult/one child party is over the age of nine, you are paying an adult rate for passes and dining plan.

I'm not sure where else the price difference would be, but those are the first two I could think of!

    Happy planning!
