Welcome to planDisney, Tom!
The only thing better than a visit to
Disneyland Resort is going with a big group of family and friends. Some of our favorite moments have been with a large, multigenerational travel party. So, let's dig in and look at dining reservations.
When I travel with a large group, I typically will make one reservation for half our party through the
Disneyland Mobile App and then I get another adult traveling with us to make a reservation for the other half. If you can't find the exact same time, I recommend looking for one within 15 to 20 minutes of each other. Once it's time to check in for our reservation, I let the Cast Member know that our two reservations are actually one big party, and I ask if it is possible to be seated together. They let me know our wait time may be slightly longer, but they will work to accommodate us. There is no guarantee that the restaurant will be able to seat you all at one table, but I have found that they often are able to make the seating arrangement work. I have a few suggestions for restaurants that accommodate large groups beautifully:
Cafe Orleans in Disneyland Park,
Lamplight Lounge in Disney California Adventure, and
Wine Country Trattoria in Disney California Adventure. Wherever you choose, I hope you have the most magical time with your family.
Thank you for visiting planDisney. We are here for all your Disneyland Resort adventures.
Enjoy making pixie-dusted memories!
