My family of 5 is traving on our first Disney cruise this Spring. We have the Deluxe Family Stateroom with Veranda. All the pictures show sleeping for only 4 when they say the room accomodates 5. How do you fit 5 people in beds? We have 2 ad & 3 kd

Welcome aboard, Elisha! I think you'll find Disney's Deluxe Family staterooms with a Verandah to be a great size for your family with three children. When you booked your cruise, the number of guests in your stateroom determines if you get one of the Deluxe rooms that sleeps four or five. Yours will obviously be equipped for five.

In your stateroom you'll find the bed for the parents, a murphy-type bed that folds from the wall for one child, the couch folds down into a single for another child, and an upper berth bed pulls out from the ceiling, forming a bunk bed with the couch bed. It's amazing how they fit these into the stateroom, but they do and it's very comfortable. Your stateroom host or hostess will set up the children's beds each evening while you're at dinner, and fold them away the next morning when you're out and about, so that you will have more space during the day.

I think you'll also really enjoy that Disney Cruise Line offers split baths! We love that one person can be brushing their teeth in one bathroom while the other is showering in the second bathroom. You'll find a sink, toilet and shelves in one, and an additional sink in with the shower and more shelves in the second. A great feature for families.

Have a wonderful cruise this spring, Elisha! Please let me know if I can help you with anything else as you plan!
