My family will be travelling to WDW from Dec 2-9 2011 with our 6 y/o daughter for the first time. Just wanna know what's the temperature the crowd for those times. Are the water parks open those times? Thanks.

Hi Valla! The beginning of December is a perfect time to visit Disney World! The parks and resorts are gorgeous, as they are all decorated for Christmas, and it is truly amazing. And the crowds are much smaller than at Christmas, which is a definite plus! The average temperature is a high of 73 degrees and a low of 52 degrees, which is between 11 and 23 celcius. Be sure to dress in layers and pack warmer clothes for evenings. Between November and March, they typically refurbish the water parks, but do it one at a time so there will be one water park open. Resort and water park pools are heated, and we've enjoyed the quieter time at Blizzard Beach during this time of year!

    Have a magical vacation Valla!
