My family of 6 will be traveling to WDW 11/20/25-11/24/15. We're staying off Disney property and have park hopper passes. We plan to go to Animal Kingdom one day and hop to DHS after AK closes at 6:00pm. What is the best way to handle transportation?

    Hey Kristin!

We're so glad you stopped by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question today!  One thing I love about vacationing at Walt Disney World is that there are so many transportation options to get from one place to another, and they're all complimentary, which means my family never needs to rent a car when we're there.

The way to get your family of 6 from Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park to Disney's Hollywood Studios couldn't be easier.  Animal Kingdom is actually connected to the other 3 theme parks - Magic Kingdom, Disney's Hollywood Studios and Epcot - via bus, which means it's a direct route.  This option is available for all Guests, whether or not you're staying on property.  When you exit Animal Kingdom, just head toward the bus stop area and look for the bus station for Disney's Hollywood Studios.  Wait in that queue and board when the next bus arrives.  Buses run approximately every 20 minutes and the ride itself will be about 25 minutes, so you should have a little time for some rest before you "hop" to your next park to finish the evening.

If you'd rather, you can also look for a taxi when you exit Animal Kingdom (there are usually taxis waiting if you head to the left).  That could make the trip a bit faster, though you'd be paying out-of-pocket for the convenience.

I hope that helps, Kristin, but if you have any other questions as you put the pixie dust on your family's final plans, please let me know!  I'd love to help!
