My family and I are traveling to WDW for the second time this Fall. We previously stayed at AKL and are now trying CBR. Unfortunately, my husband will not be arriving until 1 day after myself and my 5 and 2 year old kids. Any tips for me while I'm alone?

    Hi Shari,

Hooray for a second trip to the Walt Disney World Resorts! Caribbean Beach Resort is a fun place to spend a vacation. This resort is very large and has many activities on site for you to enjoy with your family.

While you are traveling solo, you want to make your life simple. A backpack will help keep your hands free especially since you will be traveling with a stroller by bus.

You should also think about what to do on this first day. If you want to got to a park, I would recommend Disney's Hollywood Studios because it is small and manageable with one adult. There are shows to watch so everyone can stick together. Disney's Animal Kingdom is also manageable as well. Magic Kingdom can be crowded especially in Fantasyland and Epcot is very large.

If you want to stay out of a park, then Caribbean Beach has a fun pool area to spend the day.

Since the room will have a refrigerator, you may want to order some groceries from an online grocer such as Garden Grocer. You can order breakfast foods, snacks and drinks. This way you can eat in your room for breakfast and make getting ready in the morning less stressful. You also can have snacks ready so you are not looking for food or waiting in a food line.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
