My family is traveling to the Walt Disney World Resort in July. Part of our vacation package includes the Deluxe Dining Plan, which includes 3 meals and 2 snacks per day. If we do not use all of those meals and snacks each day, do we lose them?

Hello there, Ward! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thanks for reaching out and allowing us to help you plan your Walt Disney World Resort vacation!

One of my favorite parts of vacationing at Walt Disney World Resort is the ability to custom your trip based on your needs! There are multiple tiers of Disney Resort hotels that vary in price, a variety of dining locations that range from Disney Character meals to grab-and-go snacks, and multiple types of park admission tickets to fit every type of park plan. Guests can truly customize their family vacation based on their particular interests and budget!

The Disney Dining Plan is another great example of the level of customization available to Guests! This pre-paid meal plan offers three different levels: Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan, Disney Dining Plan, and Disney Deluxe Dining Plan. Guests purchasing the Disney Dining Plan can choose which dining plans match their budget and plans so they can create their own perfectly delicious vacation!

As you’ve mentioned, the Disney Deluxe Dining Plans offers Guests three meal credits and two snack credits for each night of their Disney Resort hotel stay. You’ll be happy to know that these meals and snacks credits are not linked to specific days of your vacation! So, all of your meal and snack credits may be used at any point during your vacation. Just be sure to use them prior to checking out of your Disney Resort hotel as they will expire after this point!

Have an absolutely magic time visiting Walt Disney World Resort and be sure to let us know if we can answer any other questions for you!
