Hi My family and I are traveling to stay at Art of Animation in early October 2013, we would like to get the QSD plan. I would like to know if there are any hearty snacks that we can use our snack credits on that would be more filling than an ice cream or

Hi Kalidah! You can use your snack credits on the Disney Dining Plan to buy a varied assortment of foods. While the Quick Service Dining Plan brochure lists traditional snack options such as popcorn, drinks, or ice cream, there are also many unique and tasty items available for purchase with snack credits. If you want heartier snacks, options include a pork egg roll, a warm cinnamon roll, chili cheese fries, various soups, hard-boiled eggs, a bagel or a muffin. On the Disney Dining Plan message board of the unofficial Disney fan site disboards.com, you'll find a long list of items that guests have reported purchasing with their snack credits.

Since you're visiting in October during the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival, you'll also have the option of using your snack credits to sample a lot of the fare from the food booths around Epcot. These mini-meals are delicious and a great value on the Dining Plan.

Come visit us again at the Moms Panel if you have more questions! We'd love to help!
