My family of 4 is traveling to POR in June. My teen son hates to share a bed with his sister and my husband and I would rather not sleep with one of the kids. If I book a Preferred Room at a higher cost am I guaranteed a pull down?

Hi, Debra!  They do not guarantee a pull down in any situation, although anyone can request one.  Typically, the families with five would be considered priority in booking the room with the extra pull down bed.

In some situations such as this, you can request a roll away bed.  These are not typically offered, but in the case of boy-girl children, they might be able to get one for you.

Another option you may want to consider is one of the family suites.  You'll find them at the Art of Animation Resort and at Disney's all Star Music Resort.  The family suites have a private bedroom for mom and dad, and several fold out options for the kids in the living room.

You can absolutely request a pull down bed at Port Orleans if that is the resort you truly want.  They just can never guarantee those.

    I hope this helps!
