My family and I will be traveling to DW in December. This is our family's first trip. We are driving to DW and staying at PORS. We are trying to decide if we want to stand in line for Disney Transportation or drive to each park. What do you suggest? Thanks

Hi, Eric! My family and I often drive in from Tennessee.  Whenever we have our own vehicle that is what we use.  Disney does an amazing job of moving all of the Guests around in a timely manner, but I like being in control.  You don't have to wait for transport from your Resort, and at the end of a long day, the wait for a tram to the parking lots is often considerably less than the wait for Disney transportation.  Parking is free since you are staying on-site, so definitely take your own vehicle! Congratulations on your first Walt Disney World vacation!  Happy planning and have a Magical vacation!
