    My family and I are traveling to Disney World with our 9 yr old son who is Gluten Free. We purchased the meal package from the Disney and want to book our dinners and a character meal. Does anyone know where we can eat that serves Gluten free food?

    My family and I absolutely love the Disney Dining Plan.  We try to make sure we add it during each of our Disney vacation as it is such a convenience for us!  My children have been able to explore different cuisines and I am saving close to 30% off the cost of dining...win win!
     
    The easiest answer to your question is...virtually ANYWHERE!!  Disney is very aware that guests have allergies and/or dietary restrictions that limit their choices during dining.  But fear not, as they have a system in place which will alert them to your particular dietary need.  When booking your dining reservation, there is a tab that will allow you to indicate the diet restriction, or you can call (407) WDW-DINE, and have it noted on all reservations.  You can also alert the servers at your restaurant of choice that you have a dietary restriction, and they will have the chef at any restaurant of your choice speak with you to determine the extent of the allergy, and offer you options which will satisfy your sons palate.  Check out the Special Dietary Request section on the Walt Disney World website for a complete list of restaurants which will try to accommodate your dietary needs.
