My family is traveling to Disney World Sept 24th thru Oct 2nd. What is the weather usually like around that time of year? Should we expect Tropical weather and lots of rain?

    Hi Kendra,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! As a frequent visitor to the Walt Disney World Resort, I have been caught in Florida showers in just about every season. Of course, even getting rained on at Walt Disney World can be magical. The average high during that time of year is around 85°F with the average low being 66°F. The average precipitation actually drops from a little more than 5 inches in September to just over 2.5 inches in October. We tend to pack a variety of clothing options for ourselves and our children whenever we visit, which includes rain ponchos. Overall you should have warm days with cooler evenings and plenty of FUN! I hope this helps you with your planning. Please let me know if I can assist you with any other questions before your visit.

    Have a magical day!
