My family and I are traveling to Disney in October. I was thinking about taking my kids (ages 4 and 10) to the camfire sing-along at Ft. Wilderness. Would this be fun for the kids? Also, we are staying at POP and I'm not sure who we would get there?

Hi Jean!  The campfire sing along is great fun!  It is a change of pace from the theme park fun and just a wonderful time for all family members.  There are characters that make appearances along with the sing along fun.  And don't worry about getting there.  You can leave POP and head over to the MK, from there you can take transportation to Fort Wilderness.  But make sure you give yourself plenty of travel time, as it does take a while to get to the actual camp site.
I highly recommend this and I hope you guys have a great time if you work it into your itinerary.  Thanks for the great question, and for coming to the Mom's Panel.
