Hi there, Melissa – welcome to
planDisney!
Thanks so much for stopping by with a question for our team of panelists. We love helping Guests just like you plan your very own, very magical, Walt Disney World Resort vacations!
Melissa, this is a great question and an important one at that! While most of us think of October and dream of cozy Fall weather and sipping pumpkin spice and everything nice, it's easy to forget that the Florida sun doesn't care what month it is! The Walt Disney World
Water Parks are a great way to cool off and enjoy a whole different kind of magic during your upcoming vacation.
You're not alone - I also am not seeing any
operating hours posted yet for either Water Park the week you arrive. Don't fret though, I think Cast Members are probably just putting the finishing touches on things. You see, the Water Parks are more susceptible to weather events, and with the storm that just went through last week, they might just be a bit delayed in posting future operating hours. Unless something changes, you should expect to see operating hours for
Disney's Typhoon Lagoon available soon.
Historically, and weather permitting, at least one of the two amazing Water Parks is open any time you choose to visit. So, as long as the weather cooperates, I think you'll be able to enjoy a day, or more, at Typhoon Lagoon!
I hope this information is helpful as you continue your planning journey. You can
stop by any time with additional questions! Also, as you make your magical plans, be sure to include the newest thrill at Magic Kingdom Park –
TRON Lightcycle / Run presented by Enterprise!See ya real soon!
