Boy on Summit Plummet at Blizzard Beach

    When will Disney World open both Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach at the same time like they did before the pandemic?

    Hi Paul and welcome to planDisney!

    The Walt Disney World Water Parks are my home away from home.  I've been splashing around at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon, Disney's Blizzard Beach and River Country (way back in the day) since I was little and I just love taking my own kids for some water park fun.  I see that you'll be visiting in April, which is such a great time of year to enjoy the slides and pools.

    Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach haven't been operating at the same time since they reopened in 2021 and it's unknown if or when they will again.  Currently they trade off being open while one is closed for refurbishment.  I am crossing my fingers that they will eventually open at the same time because we love to experience both water parks when we are on a Walt Disney World vacation.  It's great to have variety!  We have had water park annual passes for as long as I can remember, so we love to get full use out of them.  The Disney Parks Blog is the go-to place for any upcoming announcements and is the first to post when the water parks are closing and opening.
