Hi Megan!
Thanks for stopping by planDisney with a great question! Don't you just love the
Disney Dining Plan? You have so many great choices when dining around Walt Disney World Resort that the hardest choice is often where to eat!
I am a big sushi fan myself, but I haven't yet been able to try
Shiki-Sai: Sushi Izakaya in EPCOT. However, after doing a little research to help find an answer to your question, I know that I'll be planning to dine here on my next trip - the menu looks fabulous! I was able to confirm that Shiki-Sai will redeem one Table-Service meal from your dining plan. A Table-Service meal consists of one entree, one dessert, and one beverage per guest. This is where things get a bit tricky in reading the menu at Shiki-Sai as it is not broken down into traditional appetizer, entree, and dessert sections like many other menus that you can find online. I was able to chat with a very helpful Cast Member who went above and beyond to help with this question. After some research of her own, she was able to share with me that the dining plan meal at Shiki-Sai currently consists of a prix-fixe menu but, unfortunately, this is unable to be viewed online at this time. She suggested keeping an eye on the website to see if this gets added soon.
I wish I could provide more details for you, but I hope this at least helps to give a little insight into what you can expect at Shiki-Sai. If you are looking for another good sushi option, I'd suggest heading over to
Kona Cafe at
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. This is a unique location because it is a Table-Service restaurant, but it also features an option to use
Mobile Food and Beverage Ordering to place a to-go order. My husband and I ordered a few rolls and paired them with some drinks from the nearby
Tambu Lounge for a relaxing afternoon happy hour with island vibes!
Megan, I hope that you enjoy a magical vacation at Walt Disney World Resort! As you continue to make plans, please stop by to ask me or any of my panelist pals other vacation planning questions. You've got a friend in me!
Cheers,
Kristi
