My family and I will be traveling to Disney this Dec followed by a Christmas Cruise on the Dream. We are from TX, so I know the weather in FL can change quickly from cold to warm and then back again. However, what should we expect in Nassau and Castaway?

Welcome to the Moms Panel, Leslie!
Celebrating the holidays in Walt Disney World and on Disney Cruise Line is sure to be a time your family will treasure always!  There is something extra magical about this special time of year especially when Disney is involved!  The festive atmosphere will definitely put your crew in the holiday spirit on both land and sea!
The weather in both Castaway Cay and in Nassau is usually quite pleasant during the month of December.  With highs in the upper 70s and lows in the 60s, you should plan on packing your summer clothes with a few items that can be layered for the cooler mornings and nights.
I hope this helps with your planning, Leslie!  Please keep me posted with any other cruise questions!  December will be here before you know it, and it will be your turn to be surrounded by the magic on your surf and turf vacation!
    Have a magical day!
