My family and I are traveling on a Disney Cruise in June 2013. We were looking into the concierge service. Can you tell me the benefits of this service and if it's worth the additional cost?

    Ahoy Rasheedah!

Congratulations on your upcoming Disney Cruise!  Having a concierge level stateroom gives you some fantastic benefits before and during your cruise vacation.  The first perk is being able to book your Port Adventures, adult-only dining experiences, and spa treatments 120 prior to your sail date.  When you arrive at the port, you will be able to take advantage of priority check-in and boarding.  While you wait, there is a separate area for concierge guests, and you will among the first to board the ship.

Your stateroom accommodations will be quite spacious, and you will love having the separate sleeping area for your crew.  If you want to dine in your stateroom, the concierge level menu includes the menu selections from the main dining rooms for each meal every day!

The Magic and Wonder do not have a Concierge Lounge, but if you have booked a cruise on the Dream or Fantasy, there is a Concierge Lounge for your enjoyment.  Snacks and drinks are available throughout the day and there is also a cocktail hour prior to dinner each evening.  It is a perfect spot to relax by watching some TV, reading a magazine, or surfing the net.  100 minutes of free internet access is included for concierge guests.  Off this lounge, is private sun deck for enjoying some time in the sun while you are resting comfortably on a cushioned chaise lounge chair.

A few other extras include having the concierge team take care of your every need onboard and also surprising you with various goodies in your suite throughout your sailing.

The Concierge Team will be glad to answer other questions you may have at (800) 784-1654, and I'm happy to answer any other cruise questions for you.

    Have a magical day!
