My family and I are traveling to Disney April 26-30, 2010. We are staying at All Star Movies. This will be our first time for all of us. I am planning on doing the on-line check in. My question is, What is in the check in packet?

    Deanna,

The check-in packet is the same, whether you use the on-line check in or the in-person one when you arrive.

The packs can change, over time and between resorts. But in my recent visit to the Animal Kingdom Lodge it included a resort property map (of the hotel resort, that is, not the entire Walt Disney World property), a mini pocket map, a resort event schedule, information about the Disney Vacation Club, and a show times guide.

There was also a marketing flyer for the resort's bounceback program. This is the program where if you book your NEXT Disney vacation while you are there on your current vacation, you can get extremely deep discounts. But you have to book it while you are there. If there is any chance that you might want to come back anytime soon, you should at least consider reading it, as the savings are significant.

On my last visit to an All-Star resort the pack was similar, but without the pocket-sized hotel map.

I hope that this helps? I welcome your follow-up questions!

    Have a magical vacation!
