family of 12 traveling Dec on the dining plan. We want to eat together as a family 1 meal per day & have reservations to cinderellas castle and akershus royal but not everyone likes the menu. Can you attend the dinner and not eat or just get a drink?

    Dear Doris,

Thank you so much for reaching out to us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your great planning question about your Advanced Dining Reservations at Cinderella's Royal Table and Akershus Royal Banquet Hall

I understand that sometimes the menu at some Walt Disney World Resort restaurants may not work for some palates, that happens. For character meals such as these, every guests who enters the restaurant for a meal must pay, because in that per person cost you are paying not just for the meal itself but also for the experience. If you have a guest in your party who can't find anything that appeals to them, the chef can often customize something that would work. For example, my daughter doesn't like some sauces, so instead of a pasta with veggies and two different sauces, a chef recently was able to make her plain pasta and plain broccoli. That's the kind of substitution that they can assist with, when you arrive and speak to your server about your needs. They won't be able to make just anything, but I'm sure that they can figure out something that will fill everyone up and meet their needs.

Hope that helps with your magical planning!
