My family of 4 is traveling to the Bahamas with the DD in March 2015. I am remarried, so will I need a certified, stamped copy of my divorce decree to prove the name change if we are traveling with birth certificates? Thank you so much!

Welcome aboard, Joy! Next spring will be here before you know it and your family will be setting sail to the Bahamas with Captain Mickey aboard the Disney Dream! What a magical trip it will be!

Please take a look at the Passport and Travel Documentation information listed on Disney Cruise Line's website for more details. As you'll see there, if you're not traveling with a passport, you will need a government issued photo I.D. like your driver's license as well as the original or copy of your state-issued birth certificate. The names must match, so since you've had a name change, you will need to bring additional paperwork that shows that. The document you mentioned should suffice, but I'd suggest calling the agents at Disney Cruise Line at 800-951-3532 to discuss your situation to ensure you get the most accurate information.

Luckily, you've got some time to get it settled, Joy! Plus, that means you also have plenty of time to explore Disney Cruise Line's website and plan any fun extras you hope to enjoy, like Port Adventures and Adult Exclusive dining! Have fun planning, Joy!
