My family and I (total 10 people and three rooms) have booked rooms at Coronado Springs in June, 2013. My mother-in law is beginning to have mobility issues. Could you suggest which resort to consider changing our reservation to ease travel/walking?

Hi, Laura!  In terms of smaller and easier to negotiate resorts, you may want to look into the Port Orleans resorts. French Quarter is very intimate feeling, and it's pretty easy to get around, even if you end up needing a wheelchair or a scooter.  Riverside is also easy to get around, and you'll find it much less sprawling than Coronado Springs.

Although they are a bump up in price, there are three deluxe resorts on the monorail system, which makes getting to the Magic Kingdom and EPCOT much easier.  The Contemporary, Polynesian, and Grand Floridian all offer easy monorail access from most parts of the resorts.

I hope this helps!  There is also an internal shuttle system at the Coronado Springs that you might be able to use to help your mother-in-law.  The courtesy coaches are extra long golf carts that can help get you around the resort.

    Have a wonderful time!
