    Hello All, Our Family (15) in total, Will be heading out in December, Actually the week of Christmas, Very excited!! Our Question, Visiting Typhoon Lagoon on one of the days, Do they have Cabanas to rent? If so who do we contact to reserve? Thanks

    Hi Veronica!

    Your trip sounds absolutely amazing.  I used to visit Walt Disney World each Christmas when I was growing up with over 30 members of my family.   We always had a magical time and memories from these family trips are some of my most cherished.  I hope you and your crew have a terrific adventure this holiday season.

    I have never splurged and rented a cabana at a water park but I have always wanted to.  It would be so cool to have your space for the day reserved and ready for you when you arrive.   I have asked fellow panelists who have and they gave me the following information, that I am happy to share with you.    

    Private cabanas at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park are called Beachcomber Shacks.   These Beachcomber Shacks can be reserved for up to 6 Guests.   You will have covered seating, towels, a small cooler stocked with bottled water and a locker to store your valuables. An attendant will also be available to your group should you need anything else while you enjoy your day in the sun.    If you would need seating for more Guests you could also reserve umbrellas that are located near each Beachcomber Shack and have seating and towels for 4 Guests.   You can reserve a cabana or umbrella  by calling (407) WDW-PLAY or (407) 939-7529.  When you make your reservation you will be required to pay in full for the rental and if you decide to cancel it must be done by 9:00 a.m. the day before your reservation in order to receive a full refund.
