My family of 10 got tickets 3 of them tried to get there tickets the day before our trip on line and cant can they get tickets at the park

    Hi Roshawnda!

Welcome to planDisney! Traveling with such a large group is such a fun and unique adventure. However, figuring out all the logistics can sometimes feel like trying to wrangle a group of hitchhiking ghosts! I’m happy to help guide you through it.

Roshawnda, you can stop by a ticket booth located in the Esplanade at the Disneyland Resort to purchase tickets and make park reservations (subject to availability). However, I definitely recommend checking the Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar before heading to the resort. Park reservations can fill up faster than Lightning McQueen on race day, and I’d hate for your group to arrive only to find out reservations aren’t available. Checking ahead helps ensure everyone’s trip to The Happiest Place on Earth is smooth sailing.

With such a large group, I’ve got a few Q-Tips to make sure your crew has a blast experiencing attractions together. First up,  there’s nothing like filling an entire boat with your family and setting sail on Pirates of the Caribbean. Jack Sparrow and his crew will have some fierce competition with your lively bunch onboard! Another group-friendly favorite is Star Tours – The Adventures Continue. Who knows;  one of your family members might even be chosen as the Rebel Spy!

If your group’s in the mood for a little more thrill, Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT! is a must. Not only will you help Rocket free the Guardians, but it’s also a perfect chance to grab a photo of your whole crew mid-drop, hair flying, hands in the air, and all smiles (or maybe screams)!

As an extra dose of pixie dust, it looks like your visit will coincide with the opening weekend of the Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival! This is one of my absolute favorite times to visit. The park transforms into a foodie paradise with marketplace booths offering mouthwatering bites inspired by California flavors. The official Foodie Guide was just released, and it’s packed with returning favorites, like the Snickers Macaron, alongside delicious new creations. I highly recommend dedicating some time to stroll, snack, and sip your way through the festival. It’s a tasty adventure you won’t want to miss!

And for one final Q-Tip, if your group loves a ride with a side of nostalgia, don’t miss the newly returned Soarin’ Over California! This iconic version of the attraction takes you on a breathtaking flight over some of the Golden State’s most scenic spots and you’ll even catch those signature scents that make the experience pure Disney magic.

I hope this helps as you plan your magical getaway, Roshawnda! If you have any other questions or need more tips for making the most of your Disneyland Resort visit, please come back and see us at planDisney. We’re always happy to help!

Wishing you a day filled with magic, memories, and maybe a few churros along the way!
