My family of three are planning a trip to Disney world in August. If I buy our tickets and memory maker now, will the memory maker just automatically start when we visit our first park?

    Hi Joshua!

It sounds like you already have a head start on planning your trip in August. Purchasing Memory Maker now is an excellent idea!  Memory Maker is a great way to capture all the magical family moments of your trip. The best part is that you no longer have to be behind the camera taking all the pictures.  Your photos will include the entire family!

Memory Maker starts with the very first picture that you take at your selected Theme Park.  All you need to do is to ask the photographer to link your photos to your Disney account with just a touch from your Magic Band or Memory Maker card.  Just like magic, all the photos will appear in your account!  You can download them every day, or wait until you get home to download them all at once.  I like to peek at my pictures every day just so I can see how much fun we had!

Joshua, thanks for visiting the Moms Panel!  If you should have additional questions regarding any aspect of your trip, just ask away!  We're here to help.

    Be magical,
