Ahoy, Jonathan!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I'm excited to hEAR you're considering a sailing for 2019 for a big group. I firmly believe, the more the merrier on the high seas especially since you'll be creating memories that last a lifetime! I actually love booking my cruise vacations early, so I have plenty of time to dream and plan for my magical time with Captain Mickey. And I'm always surprised at how quickly times flies when I'm counting down to my voyage. Although group
discounts are not offered for Disney Cruise Line, you are asking this question at the right time, Jonathan. One of my best ways to save for a cruise aboard Disney is to book early, as typically the best rates are lower the sooner you reserve your sailing. I also recommend a non-holiday time as those sailings are usually priced a bit higher-summer, Easter, Thanksgiving and the December holidays.
Jonathan, another perk to booking early is that it gives you more time to save and budget for your cruise. At the time of booking, only a 20 percent deposit is normally required with final payment due only a few months before you sail. At this time, most of your extras are charged once you're onboard so that's even more time to budget for any Port Adventures, adult dining experiences and of course, souvenirs!
Best of luck with your cruise plans, Jonathan! If you have any further questions, please let us know. You can visit
Disney Cruise Line's website to reserve your future cruise or call (800) 951-3532 for assistance from a Cruise Reservation Agent. Once everyone is booked, reservations can be linked so you'll be able to make plans together including your nightly dinners!
Have a magical day!
Nancy
