My family is thinking of planning a Walt Disney World trip, but the trouble is we don’t know whether we should book our stay in February or April. We’re a family of 5 with 3 kids. I’d like to know which month is better since the costs are very similar.

Hi there, Isabella! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We appreciate you taking the time to stop by and allowing us to help you plan your vacation to Walt Disney World Resort!

Spring at Walt Disney World Resort is a gorgeous time to visit and tends to be one of the times of the year my own family plans to visit! The weather during this time of the year tends to be less hot and all of the beautiful flowers are in bloom. In addition, crowds tend to be a bit lower than other times of the year. All around, it's just a spectacular time to visit!

When choosing when to plan my own visits, I tend to base it on which special events I would like to attend. During the months of January through February, the Epcot International Festival of the Arts is taking place. This celebration of the arts showcasing visual arts, performing arts, and culinary arts fit for any  aspiring artist! If you are more interested in exploring the flora that can be found across the globe, I would recommend visiting between March and April. This is when the Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival takes place! There are a variety of topiaries, gardens, and exhibits that can be explored throughout this event and, of course, seasonal eats that can be tasted as well!

Regardless of your decision, it's difficult to go wrong with when visiting during either February or April! Good luck continuing to plan for your upcoming vacation to Walt Disney World Resort!
