Hi, Olivia! Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Anytime is a great time to visit Walt Disney World Resort, but what makes the beginning of May one of the best times of the yEAR are the lower crowds during the post-Easter stretch, moderate prices, and pleasantly warm spring weather, which will feel glorious coming from New York!
Speaking of spring, each yEAR from March till the beginning of June, Epcot is abloom in beautiful bursts of color as thousands of flowers are planted throughout the Park for the
Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival. I love the Disney themed topiaries, and in 2020 a new Ratatouille Garden will debut at the France Pavilion with an all-new Remy topiary. Here's hoping that the highly anticipated ride, Remy's Ratatouille Adventure, makes an early debut in Epcot during your trip! The France Pavillion will also be home to the all-new Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along, which should be welcoming guests by the time of your vacation. Other brand new experiences to look forward to are the Space 220 Restaurant and the
Epcot Forever nighttime firework show.
I'd also encourage you to hop over to
Disney's Hollywood Studios via the amazing
Disney Skyliner transportation system. While you're there, indulge in a Blue Bantha concoction at
Oga's Cantina before joining the Resistance in an epic battle against the First Order on
Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, which opens this December! We've been told that adventure awaits us on
Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway opening sometime this spring!
As you can see, Olivia, there's so much to look forward to! If you need any more trip planning tips, remember we're all
EARs!
