Hello! Our family of 8 is thinking about dining at Goofy's Kitchen, but aren't so sure. The thing is, we have no kids in our party, but we're BIG Disney fans! We're afraid that if we go, we won't get as much attention from characters. Should we go? Thanks!

    Hello Ruben,

Thank you for visiting us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. I hope you are having a Dapper Day!

Hakuna Matata, Disney is for kids of all ages. You should definitely enjoy a magical meal at Goofy’s Kitchen! When you dine at any of the Character Dining Experiences, like Goofy’s Kitchen, the Disney Characters will visit every table for pictures, sign autograph books and hugs for Mouseketeers of all ages (even if you don’t have kids dining with you). You sound like us and will probably be so excited that when you see a Disney Character approaching you whiling dining, you will say, “Hello ______!” which will then be the beginning of some magical photos. I highly recommend going to Goofy’s Kitchen - you will go bonkers! Reservations at Goofy’s Kitchen are highly recommended, to check availability and make your reservations call (714) 781-3463 up to 60 days prior to your visit.

In fact, when I’m watching a parade at the Disneyland Resort, I’ve been known to be wildly waving my hands and excitedly yelling each and every Disney Character’s name out - yes, even this Mama wants a personal smile from Ariel, the Sea Princess.

I hope this helps. If you have any more questions, please visit us here and let us know how we can help you plan your magical vacation.

Wishing you a magical adventure at The Happiest Place on Earth!
