My family & I are taking our second Disney Cruise. We are sailing on the Wonder in January 2016 and cruising the southern Caribbean. I was wondering if the Frozen deck party will be on this ship and if so will the pirate night deck party still be featu

    Ahoy, Kimberley!

Congratulations on planning your second Disney Cruise Line vacation! My husband and I sailed the Southern Caribbean this past October, and it was wonderful! Our favorite port was Barbados, we went to a rum factory for a tour and mixology class.

The Frozen Deck Parties were announced for this summer, as a special addition for the Norway, European, and Alaskan sailings (see what they did there? Frozen for the colder places?). This party is happening in place of Pirate Night. As of right now, these parties are specifically for these cooler weather sailings. Since your cruise will be back in the warm weather of the Caribbean, I would imagine that you will have a Pirates IN the Caribbean Deck Party, complete with fireworks.

You never know what will happen, though, so keep your eye on the Disney Parks Blog and the Disney Cruise Line website for future announcements.

    Happy Cruising, Tracy V.

GAWRSH! Hiya pals! I am a Goofy-loving mom of 2, who is married to my real-life Prince Charming. My family supports my passion for all things Disney. Walt Disney World was my very first vacation, when I was just 3 months old, and I recently completed my 73rd trip to a Disney location! I have been fortune enough to parasail high above the Disney Fantasy, attend opening day of Batuu, snorkel in the lagoon at Disney's Aulani, and SO MUCH MORE! I can't wait to help you plan your Disney vacation!
