Hello my family is taking our first trip in Nov. How long and which is the best way to get from Caribbean resort to 1900 Park Fare for breakfast? Reservation is at 8:30 am. Thanks for the help.

    Hi Joe,

Congratulations on your first visit to Walt Disney World vacation!  I hope it's the first of many your family will take.

The complimentary bus, monorail and boat transportation on Disney property generally operates from 45 minutes to an hour before the theme parks open until an hour after closing.  You don't say which date you'll be dining at 1900 Park Fare, so I'm not sure exactly what time transportation will start, so I'll give you both possible transportation options.

If your 1900 Park Fare reservation is on a day when Magic Kingdom has morning Extra Magic Hours (November 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30, 2015) and opens at 8:00 a.m., buses will start running from Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort to Magic Kingdom around 7:15 a.m.  You'll be able to catch one of these buses to Magic Kingdom and then from there take another bus or the monorail to Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa for your meal.

If your breakfast reservation is on a date when Magic Kingdom does not have morning Extra Magic Hours, then you'll need to catch a "breakfast bus" (as they're unofficially called) from your hotel to breakfast.  Those buses run as early as 6:30 a.m.  Just check with a Cast Member at the front desk of your hotel to confirm when and where you should catch that bus so that you arrive in time for your 8:30 a.m. reservation.

When you make a dining reservation, Disney usually recommends allowing 90 minutes to travel to your destination.  However, during the times of day that are less busy (like early morning), you may not need quite that long.

Wishing you a practically-perfect breakfast with Mary Poppins, Joe!  Thanks for "Popping" by!
