My family is taking our first Disney vacation during the second week of March. It it warm enough in Orlando to swim in the hotel pool at that time? We're staying at the Caribbean in a pirate room, so we'd love to get in the hotel's pirate-themed pool.

The average high temperature in March is 79 degrees. Assuming that you don't run into an unusual cold snap, you should be fine for swimming.

Additionally, you should know that the pools at the WDW are all heated year round. I have been at WDW even when the air temperatures were in the 40s and have still seen kids frolicking happily in the 80+ degree pools. (Most of the parents were huddled on the lounge chairs in parkas, but that's another story.)

Have a wonderful stay in your pirate lair!
