    Hello! My family and I are taking our first Disney cruise in October. My son is 4 and my daughter is 9. Do you have a recommendation for an excursion in Nassau and Castaway Cay? Thank you for your time and consideration!

    Congratulations on your first Disney Cruise this October!  I hope it's the first of many magical voyages for your soon-to-be seafaring crew! 
    I'm glad you are considering venturing ashore when you visit the spectacular ports of call on your sailing!  In Nassau, I'd have a look at the Atlantis Dolphin Cay Shallow Water Interaction and Aquaventure or the Blue Lagoon Island Dolphin Encounter.  Both give you an amazing opportunity to see these incredible creatures up close which I know your children will love!  If you aren't looking for a splashtacular adventure, but would enjoy seeing marine life, the Seaworld Explorer Semi-Submarine is a nice option.
    When you visit Disney's private island, you will be in awe of this little slice of Bahamian paradise!  My advice is to enjoy the island as a family building in the sand, splashing around in the beautiful turquoise waters and visiting Spring-A-Leak water play area and Pelican's Point (waterslides).  I also recommend a leisurely bike ride to enjoy the natural beauty of the area.  I think your kids will also want to stop by Scuttle's Cove, the kids' club on the island!  Fun games and free play is available throughout the day.  My son's favorite activity to do when we visit Castaway Cay is the Family Whale Dig at Monstro Point!  Check your Personal Navigator, the daily cruise newsletter, for all the Castaway Cay activities!
