Ahoy, Tiffany!
I'm so excited for you because this holiday season will be extra-magical for your crew since you'll be celebrating onboard Disney Cruise Line! My family loves sailing during the
Very Merrytime Cruises because they are filled with pixie dust, so y'all are in for a huge dose on your very first voyage with Disney!
There are so many things to love about the holiday sailings aboard Disney Cruise Line including the beautiful decor (just wait until you see the 24-ft tall Christmas tree!). Last December, I was in awe of how the ship was decked out from stem to stern with gorgeous garland and the uniquely themed wreaths and Christmas trees! Your pictures are going to be spectacular! And you won't want to miss photo opportunities with the beloved Disney Characters in their darling holiday attire! I adore them all, but I think Mickey Mouse in his Christmas sweater is my absolute favorite! He's just so darn cute!
Tiffany, your crew is not only going to love the decor, but also all the festive fun onboard! When I sailed last December, the only ticketed holiday event was the Gingerbread House Decorating. Spacing is limited, so you'll want to stop by the Port Adventure Desk to pick up your complimentary tickets on the first afternoon. One of the very talented Pastry Chefs will take you step-by-step through the process using some delicious edible ingredients! After you are finished, stop by the life-sized Gingerbread House in the Lobby Atrium for a fun photo op! Other events not to be missed are Mickey's Tree Lighting Magic, Santa's Winter Wonderland Ball, the Deck the Deck Tropical Holiday Party and Sea Ya Real Soon held on the last night! I always like to arrive at least 15 to 20 minutes early to secure the perfect viewing spot!
It was my pleasure assisting you with your question, Tiffany! Please cruise back over real soon!
