My family is taking a 12 day vacation to WDW in Oct 2013. Narrowed down stay to AOA & AKL Jambo house studio. Difficult time making final choice. Ages of group are 65,69, 33,34,5,3 at travel time. Any tips to choose resort that is best fit? Thank you

Hi, Terry!  To stay at Jambo house at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge, you will need at least two studios.  The studios won't accommodate a party of this size, although you could consider something larger, like a two bedroom villa.  The villa will give you a full kitchen, washer and dryer, and an extra bathroom.

Art of Animation will accommodate up to six guests.  There is a separate bedroom with a king sized bed and television, and then there are three fold out options in the main part of the room.  There is a double sized fold out sofa, plus two single fold out options.  You will have a microwave and small refrigerator, plus two full bathrooms, which is a great thing to have.

I think the villa will give you more room, plus it's nice to have the laundry and kitchen right in the room with you.  It will be more per night though, so you may find if you're not going to be spending much time in the room that Art of Animation is more of a value.

Both resorts are wonderful and unique.  I think it comes down to what experience you're hoping for in your resort.

    I hope this helps!
