Are any of the family suites located on the ground floor at all star music? We have a family suite booked for September and would like to be on ground floor if possible.

    Hello Wesley!

Thanks for coming back to planDisney. I'm happy to help as you prepare for your September visit.

The Family Suites at Disney's All-Star Music Resorts are a fantastic option for parties of up to 6. Your band of magic makers will enjoy jamming out in the spacious accommodations which feature a private Queen bedroom, two Queen pull-down Murphy beds, 2 full bathrooms, and a kitchenette with refrigerator and microwave. It's sure to be the perfect home away from home during your vacation.

I can appreciate not wanting to climb a bunch of stairs or navigate elevators at the end of a long park day. My fellow panelist Kara outlined the locations of these suites for a guest last year, noting that ground-floor rooms were an option. I also reached out to a Cast Member who confirmed he enjoyed a recent stay in a first-room Family Suite himself.

As you may already know, room requests are not guaranteed but can be made during the online check-in process. Navigate to the feature menu (≡) in your My Disney Experience Mobile App, then scroll down to "Hotel Reservations" under the "My Visit" heading. There you can complete or modify your online check-in and indicate two requests. The options will vary depending on the specific resort you have reserved. You'll also see a box to "Please prioritize having my room ready early over these room requests" if you prefer.

You can also contact a Cast Member with the Disney Resort Hotel Reservations Team by phone to note your preferences. Again, these are not guaranteed but Cast Members usually do their best to accommodate whenever possible.

I hope this helped, Wesley. If we can answer any additional questions please come back and let us know.

    Magic and memories,
    Amy
