Do the family suite at art of animation have 2 separate bedrooms

    Hey there, Laurie,

Thanks for cruising by planDisney with your question. I'm happy to help!

I am a huge fan of Disney's Art of Animation Resort and always recommend it to first-time visitors or returning guests. The colorful character decor, the incredible Big Blue Pool, and the Disney Skyliner access to Disney's Hollywood Studios and EPCOT make it a fun choice at an excellent value. I had the pleasure of staying in a Cars Family Suite in 2022 and it's still one of my favorite vacations. Let's drive through all the details together.

First, Family Suites can accommodate up to 6 adults and feature one bedroom, a living area with a kitchenette, and 2 full bathrooms. When you enter the suite you'll find a pull-down table bed on one wall and the living area with a sleeper sofa, storage, TV, and kitchenette ahead. You can take a look at this planDisney Pocket Guide which features a picture of the Lion King Family Suite to give you an idea of the entry view.

On one side of the suite, you'll have a bathroom with a sink and mirror area that has a second doorway to the toilet and tub/shower combo. I love this feature because someone can get "spiffy in a jiffy" at the mirror while another suds up in the shower. This makes getting ready for the parks in the morning and cleaning up after a day of fun in the evening lightning fast. On the other side of the suite, you'll see a doorway to a private Queen bedroom which has its own TV, dresser, and storage area with a second full bathroom featuring a walk-in shower.

Though the suite only has one bedroom, you'll find ample sleeping space in the main area. The table folds down to a double-size bed (my daughter loved doing this each day) and the sleeper sofa also pulls out to a double-size bed. The rooms are spacious, adorably themed, and a perfect home base to wind down after a busy day in the parks. I also love that the Cars area has its own Cozy Cone Pool with cone-shaped cabanas and our favorite Cars character pals scattered around the grounds. You'll feel like you've stepped into Radiator Springs if you reserve a suite in this area. Ka-Chow!

I hope this was helpful, Laurie. Please don't hesitate to hitch a ride right back to planDisney if you have any additional questions. We're always glad to serve as your friendly planning pit crew.

    Life is a highway,
    Amy
