Hi! My family and I are staying in WDW arriving on March22 and leaving March 29.On the 22nd we noticed Magic Kingdom is open until 2am. Is there a special event? Thanks! We can hardly contain our excitement! It's our daughter's first time at WDW. thanks!

Hi, Susan!  I've just checked the calendar, and I do not see a special event going on at the Magic Kingdom on March 22nd - although I think every visit to the Magic Kingdom is special!  The Magic Kingdom is actually open until 11 PM, which is probably because of the spring break crowds making their way to Orlando.  But, the night of the 22nd is also extra magic night time hours at the Magic Kingdom.  That means for guests staying at a Walt Disney World resort, the park is open an extra three hours that night!

If you are a Walt Disney World resort guest, and you can stay up that late, this is a great way to start your vacation!  Just make sure you aren't trying to make a seven o'clock breakfast the next morning!  We don't want anyone to fall asleep in their Mickey waffles!
