My family and I will be staying for a total of 12 nights this July. We are splitting time between Port Orleans (4 nights) and Saratoga Springs (8 nights). I was wondering if anyone has split time between resorts and how was there experience ?

    Hi Jerry!

Yes! Our family almost always splits our vacation time among one or more resorts! Its just so hard to pick a single one to stay at sometimes!

The experience is wonderful and very easy. Typically, most guests will make a package reservation (a room and park tickets package) for the first stay. When this stay is reserved, you'll want to choose park tickets for your entire stay, as this is the cheapest way to go. It is much more economical to add days to park tickets than to buy two sets of tickets. Your second reservation would be for a "room only" reservation - since you'll already have your park tickets.

If you do not have a vehicle, the easiest way to transfer your luggage will be to contact bell services at your first hotel and let them know you're transferring to a different Disney resort. They will transport your luggage for you as you enjoy a day at the parks. Later in the day, you can simply head to your new resort, check in, and ask for your luggage to be delivered to your room.

Hope this helps! Be sure to let the Moms Panel know if we can help with any additional details!
