My family and I are staying in 2 separate rooms...one room the people will have the dining plan, the other room they won't. Can we still eat together when some of us will use DDP credits and some won't? Will the restaurants separate the checks for us?

Hi, Laura! Yes, you will be able to dine together. In fact, we do this all the time when my local Moms Panel friend, Marisol, and her family join us for meals. Because they live close, they aren't staying on-site, so they pay for their meals out-of-pocket while we are on the Disney Dining Plan. It couldn't be easier. Simply tell the Cast Member serving you which Guests are together on each check and which check will have the Disney Dining Plan. He or she will take care of the rest for you. Since they do it all the time, they have it down to a science!  Happy planning and have a Magical vacation!
