Welcome Home, and welcome back to planDisney! One of the many reasons we love staying in Disney’s Deluxe Villas is the
home-like accommodations with plenty of space to spread out and the full kitchen, and I always place a grocery order for our trips.
The easiest option is to use Disney’s grocery delivery service. This is available for Disney Vacation Club Members staying in Deluxe Villa Accommodations and you simply print and fill out this
grocery form for
Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa, and fax it back to the resort at least 3 days before check-in. While the options are limited, you can’t beat the convenience.
Many Guests use services such as Instacart and Amazon Prime Now, and neither of these needs to be set up way in advance. You can place an order a day or two before, or the morning of your arrival! Since your visit is very soon, this may be the best option for you.
Garden Grocer is another popular option and has been delivering to Disney Resort Hotels for more than a decade. You’ll need to choose from a specific list of items, but their service is always reliable. Delivery windows do fill up, and they cannot always accommodate last-minute orders.
My family uses Dizzy Dolphin Delivery. Dizzy Dolphin is run by local Disney Vacation Club Members and you receive more personalized service. Their website has you simply type in what you want, rather than choose from a pre-determined list. The upside to this is that they will look for exactly what you want! They will even pick up cakes, bagels from Panera, or create fruit trays for you!
Groceries can be delivered to your resort after you check in, and they will be held in cold storage until you pick them up, or have them delivered to your room. If you would like Bell Services to deliver the groceries to your room there is a $6 flat fee, or you can pick them up yourself to avoid that fee. You mentioned adult beverages. If you’d like adult beverages, you usually need to be present to accept your delivery when it arrives, rather than having it accepted by Bell Services. I believe Instacart, Garden Grocer, and Dizzy Dolphin all offer delivery of adult beverages, and you will choose a delivery window in which to meet them. Because of needing to meet the delivery, I usually don’t purchase adult beverages in advance, and instead purchase from the limited selection in the grocery area of the resort gift shop, but many Guests do use this service.
