My family and I are staying at Port Orleans French Quarter in April 12th-16th. We have a dinner reservation at Ohana one night and I was wondering how much time I should allow us to travel and what would be the best way?

    Aloha Erin,

You're going to love dinner at 'Ohana at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort! It's always on my family's "must do" list for dinner when we visit.

You can get to 'Ohana from DIsney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter by taking Disney's complimentary bus transportation from the hotel to Magic Kingdom.  Once you arrive at Magic Kingdom, head to the Resort Monorail and take that until you get to Disney's Polynesian Village Resort and 'Ohana will be just inside when you enter the hotel.  I'd allow yourself at least an hour, maybe a little more, to make the trip.  If you arrive early for your reservation, you can explore the beautiful hotel or grab a drink at the Tambu Lounge.  If you need any help along the way, feel free to ask a Cast Member - they are always happy to help!

Alternately, you can always take a taxi directly from your hotel to dinner.  It would be quicker (about 15 minutes), but you'd be paying somewhere around $20 out-of-pocket for the convenience.

Enjoy your meal and please let us know if we can help answer any other questions!

Wishing you a most magical vacation,

    Beth
