Our family is staying at the Pop Century Resort beginning Feb 9th and can get there as early as 11am. We are not visiting a park that day. Our party includes 4 adults and 5 kids ages 7 & under. Any suggestions as to what we should do that day?

Hi James! How exciting that your disney vacation is just around the corner. There are so many things to do at Disney World in addition to visiting the theme parks. Here are a few suggestions:

    - Head to Downtown Disney. This is our first day tradition. So many fun shops and restaurants to choose from. You can also enjoy bowling at Splittsville Luxury Lanes, play your favourite video game at DisneyQuest, enjoy dinner and a movie at the AMC Theatre, rent a boat or even catch Cirque de Soleil's La Nouba.
    - Enjoy your resort. Spend the day exploring the pools and everything your resort has to offer. There's tons to do at Pop Century, and you can even take a short stroll across the bridge to check out Disney's new Art of Animation Resort. Personally, I think they have one of the best food courts!
    - Visit other resorts. If you do go to Downtown Disney, hop on a boat and visit Port Orleans French Quarter and Riverside resorts.
    - Test your mini golf skills at either Winter Summerland or Fantasia Gardens.
    - In the evening, head to Fort Wilderness Campground and go to Chip 'N Dale's Campfire Sing-a-Long, followed by a movie under the stars.

These are just a few ideas James. Write back with any other questions!
