Hey, Courtney! Welcome to planDisney.
Magic Kingdom Park is truly the heart of Disney magic! With its iconic Cinderella Castle, classic attractions like
The Haunted Mansion and
Pirates of the Caribbean, and endless opportunities to meet beloved Disney characters, it’s a "practically perfect" place for Guests of all ages to immerse themselves in enchanting stories and unforgettable experiences. I'll bet you're counting down the days.
But let’s dive into the details of getting to the park! The
monorail and
ferryboat usually begin running around 7:30 AM from the Transportation and Ticket Center (TTC), so it’s a good idea to arrive by that time to catch one of the first rides over to Magic Kingdom. Keep in mind, you'll need to go through security before boarding, so allowing a little extra time is always wise. The ferry ride itself typically takes about 10-15 minutes, but you’ll also need to account for any potential wait time.
If you’re driving, the parking lot at the TTC opens at 7:00 AM, giving you plenty of time to park, pass through security, and choose your preferred mode of transportation—whether it’s the monorail or ferry. When you arrive at Magic Kingdom, look out for the “Early Entry for Reservations” line at the entrance. Just show your reservation confirmation, and you’ll be all set for a fairytale beginning to your day!
I trust that's helpful, Courtney. If you have any more questions about your trip, you've got a friend in me.
