For a family of 6, staying at moderate resort with basic dining plan. Do you recommend bringing along snack/breakfast foods? Is there a way to have them delivered to room from a local vendor? Thanks.

If you're looking to economize, then having your own non-Disney snacks and breakfast is a pretty painless way to do this. You are allowed to bring food and beverages (in non-glass containers) with you into the theme parks. Bringing your own snacks is especially good if you have a member of your party that is a particularly picky eater or has some other food issue.

There are a number of local grocery delivery services that could bring food items to your hotel. You can read more about this HERE and HERE. Additionally, you could also mail yourself a package of non-perishables or have amazon.com grocery send you snacks to be delivered to your hotel. Any of these options would work.

Hope you have a great trip!
