Hello my family and I will be staying at the GF and Saratoga in July- the studio for both. Can I bring a slo cooker? Also what kind of coffee maker are in the rooms (wondering if it’s a Kcup style or the traditional maker using paper filter?

    Welcome Home Simone!

Don’t you love a slow cooker? It takes the “work” out of creating a delicious, perfectly tender meal. I have a feeling that’s what you are looking for when asking about bringing a crockpot - you want a delicious meal waiting for you when you return from having fun in the Parks!

Unfortunately, small appliances such as crockpots, Instapot, and hot plates are not allowed in Walt Disney World Resort rooms. But! Most of the Disney Vacation Club studios have a microwave, toaster, and mini fridge to help prepare meals. Also, I have stayed at almost every one of the Deluxe Villa properties, and I can vouch that each of their Quick Service locations has an excellent array of options to satisfy any appetite.

Along with your mini-kitchen amenities, the 12 cup drip-style coffee maker comes with a complimentary bag of Joffrey’s Coffee, filters, creamer, and sugar. Mousekeeping will happily replenish your coffee service any time during your stay. You can reach them by pressing the Housekeeping/Engineering button on your in-room phone.

Simone, if you have any other questions, please don’t hesitate to ask. chEARs to a magical vacation!
